Contour's two-day plastic to rock looks at the techniques and skills needed by an experienced indoor climbers to make the safe transition to outdoor venues.  Rather than look at the similarities between the two disciplines we prefer to focus on the differences between indoor walls and outdoor crags and the skills pertaining to safe climbing at sport crags, in particular:

Students must be able to demonstrate that they have a wide experience of indoor climbing, be able to tie into a harness, belay safely, and climb to 5b minimum
